Born of the hidden indiscretions of nobility and raised in the Brume, Cyndric saw himself to knighthood through whatever means he deemed necessary, regardless of who stood in his way. His stubborn determination and manipulative tactics earned him a somewhat questionable reputation amongst his fellow Knights in combination with his origins, but he remained in active service nonetheless until after he was injured in the siege of Ala Mhigo alongside the Resistance.Even after a lengthy recovery period, some of the damage was never liable to heal, and it was with that information that Cyndric begrudgingly accepted the prospect of retirement, taking what he'd saved over the years and making his way to the main of Eorzea to start a new life.Today, Cyndric now works as a mercenary for hire and Void Hunter, taking on independent contracts while he seeks out sources of consistent work.
